Terms and conditions

1. Parties

The services are provided by SIA “Vizo Media”, reg. no. 40203420359, Rīgas iela 181, Jēkabpils, LV-5202 (Fotosiena.lv). The client is the individual or legal entity that books the service. If we sign a separate contract for a booking, the terms of that contract take precedence.

2. Prices

• Prices on the website are in euros, excl. VAT.
• The calculator estimate is for guidance only. The final price is the one stated in the quote or invoice we confirm.
• Prices may differ on public holidays and in high-demand dates, such as the Christmas season, New Year’s Eve and Midsummer (Jāņi).
• Special offers and discounts cannot be combined unless the offer states otherwise.

3. Booking and payment

• The date is reserved once we have received a 30% deposit against our invoice.
• Until the deposit is received, we may offer the date to other clients.
• The client pays the remaining amount after the event, within the term stated on the invoice.
• Extra hours ordered on site during the event are added to the final invoice at the calculator price.

4. Changing the date and cancellation

• The event date can be moved free of charge if we are available on the new date. The deposit is transferred to the new date.
• If the client cancels the event, the deposit is not refunded, as we have turned down other clients for that date.
• If we are unable to provide the service through our own fault, we refund the full amount received.

5. Design and content

• The client sends names, the date, logo and wishes for the print or video frame design at least 5 working days before the event. We revise the design until you are happy with it.
• If the information is not sent in time, we use a neutral design with the event date.
• The client confirms that they have the right to use the logos, images and music they send.
• Design templates and software prepared by us remain the property of Fotosiena.lv.

6. Venue, electricity and weather

The client provides:

• a level area: 2 × 2 m for the photo booth, 2 × 3 m for the mirror photo booth, 3 × 3 m for the 360 video booth and 4 × 4 m for the TOP 360 video booth;
• one 230 V socket near the equipment;
• access to the venue for set-up: usually 45 minutes before the event, and up to 2 hours for the TOP 360 video booth and illuminated photo walls;
• information about the floor, stairs and vehicle access if the venue is not on the ground floor.

Outdoors, the equipment only operates under a canopy or in a marquee. In rain, strong wind or other conditions that endanger people or equipment, the attendant may stop or move the equipment. This is not grounds for a price reduction.

7. During the event

• The attendant looks after the equipment, helps guests and may refuse use to a guest who endangers themselves, others or the equipment, for example due to intoxication.
• Children may only step onto the 360 video booth together with an adult.
• The hire period starts at the agreed time. If the event is delayed for reasons beyond our control, the hire period is not moved automatically, but it can be extended at the calculator price.
• The audio guest book, if sent by courier or Omniva, must be returned by the client within the agreed period and with the same contents.

8. Damage and liability

• The client is responsible for any damage to or loss of equipment, props and photo walls caused by event guests, and covers the cost of repair or replacement.
• We do not charge the client for normal wear and tear of props and decorations.
• Fotosiena.lv’s liability for the quality of the service is limited to the amount paid. We are not liable for indirect losses.
• If equipment breaks down during the event, we will try to repair or replace it on site. Any time the service was not working is deducted from the invoice.

9. Partner services

Balloon decorations are made and installed by our partner Fēbe DEKO. We agree the balloon price, colours and installation time together, and balloons must be ordered at least 5 working days before the event.

10. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to fulfil its obligations if this is caused by circumstances it could not foresee or control, such as a natural disaster, government restrictions or a state of emergency. In such cases, we will look for a new date and the deposit will be transferred.

11. Use of the website

• The website’s texts, design, illustrations and photos may not be copied or used for commercial purposes without Fotosiena.lv’s permission.
• We update prices and information on the website regularly, but they do not constitute a public offer. A booking takes effect once we have confirmed it.
• We process personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.

12. Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. We resolve disagreements through negotiation. Consumers may also contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC, www.ptac.gov.lv). If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be settled by a court of the Republic of Latvia.
